Who would have thought that when you stop poisoning yourself every day with alcohol and fast food, and start doing cardio and sleeping at normal hours, that you actually start to feel and function better? ?;p But in all seriousness, this is big for me. Was never a cardio guy until about a month or so ago. Then, after 10 minutes at this speed and incline, my heart rate would be well above 180. Today it never broke 165. I know for hardcore cardio folks this is no big deal, but I’m very happy with how my dedication has paid off so far. I’ve never felt better. It’s been worth it for the mental benefits alone.
